OnePlus could introduce a new variant of its OnePlus 3T tomorrow. The Chinese company has published a teaser through its Twitter account featuring tomorrow's date and a mention to Colette, a French fashion distributor (and a famous boutique of accessories and clothing). That is to say, at this moment we are not sure of the news, but could be that tomorrow a special version of the OnePlus 3T whose esthetics would be realized in a close collaboration between OnePlus and Colette.
All this would make sense, given that the OnePlus 3T currently represents one of the best options when buying a high-end smartphone. From the point of view of hardware has nothing to envy anyone, much less the price, but in aesthetics may be where users most failures find. In this sense, the tweet refers to March 15, so we will keep waiting for confirmations throughout the day tomorrow.
OnePlus 3T Specs
While the OnePlus 3T is ready to renew itself again (it seems), it will not do so in terms of technical details. In fact these have already been renewed (hence the T after 3). Among those changes are the Snapdragon 821 processor, a 3,400 mAh battery and a 16-megapixel camera. One thing is transcendental, considering that now the focus of the network is channeled towards the next top-of-the-range smartphone from OnePlus (OnePlus 4 or, according to the most popular hypothesis, 5).
However, given the huge amount of time that separates us from the presentation of the new device (scheduled for June), there seems to be room for a bit of innovation in between. Currently the OnePlus 3T is available in variants of 64 and 128 GB of internal storage space: the first can be purchased in Gunmetal or Soft Gold color, while the second is only available in the darker tone variant.
