As the new smartphone of the Korean company becomes known, our information about it will be greater, but to date there are already many things that can be intuited based on rumors and company policies. For example, we know that next year LG's mission is clear, and the goal of the LG G6 is to gain market share in a market where it has not been able to conquer for the time being and in which it is losing bellows lately. In fact, in addition to Samsung and Apple, Huawei is also ahead in terms of worldwide sales. The latest high-end device launched to compete with the competition flagships was the LG G5, and was a failure (although not on a large scale), so the company will try again with the LG G6, anticipating the launch for March 2017, shortly before the MWC 2017, and by the time we know that the new LG G6 will be equipped with a fingerprint reader.
In a way, the LG G6 should not be very different from the top of the current range. It should be equipped with a dual camera on the back with a fingerprint reader placed on the back of the case. With similar dimensions to the LG G5, it is not yet known if the modular design will be maintained, but users who did not buy it expect it to be abandoned, as it has probably been the reason for the failure in sales. Users do not want to be forced to buy products belonging to the LG Friends range to have advanced features available, but for anyone who has bought any of these elements, the idea of a modular LG G6 may be interesting. Otherwise, the screen of this smartphone could range between 5.3 or 5.5 inches of Quad HD type, and resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. As for the hardware, the Snapdragon 821 processor has all the ballots, but also the Snapdragon 835, along with 4 GB of RAM, although there is the possibility that it is a RAM of 6 GB. The operating system will be Android 7.1 Nougat almost certainly, and may incorporate iris sensor and improved modes of battery charging.
According to other rumors, LG's new smartphone could have significantly reduced edges, and that would make it increasingly likely to bid farewell to the modular design and welcome some changes in the Korean company's usual style. For example, there are rumors of the presence of a lateral curvature, a middle between the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge screen and the Xiaomi Mi Mix, which has a nearly fully curved panel. The back cover would be glass, the battery removable and would be water resistant. It must be said that for the moment there are rumors a little contradictory, and we still have months ahead to discover more after the beginning of the new year. At the moment no one has talked about the price to be released, but it is expected to be similar to the price of its predecessor, the LG G5, despite being very different from each other.
