After showing the first images of the Doogee Mix, the first bezel-less smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer (in three of the four faces of the sides of the screen), today we know the first data on the price of sale to the public, and is very interesting considering the technical specifications of this new Android smartphone. Recall that the basic version of the Doogee Mix has a SoC MediaTek Helio P25 flanked by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and will hit the market at a price of $ 200, while the premium version is expected to have 6 GB of RAM, Helio X30 and 128 GB of internal memory (and will obviously cost more).
A pretty good price, the first one, for a smartphone of this type. Not only because of the mentioned specs, also by the 5.5-inch screen with Super AMOLED technology, another of its strengths. It is true that the Doogee Mix, at least in the image shown, remembers too much the Xiaomi Mi Mix (even in the name) and, to a lesser extent, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, but it is also true that it costs 3-4 times less the price of these smartphones (dirty play, or competitiveness?).
Doogee Mix, a smartphone inspired by the Xiaomi Mi Mix, or a copy?
Doogee claims not to have been inspired by the Xiaomi Mi Mix, but rather by manufacturers like Sharp and Nokia, who in the past had already launched some prototypes of smartphones without frames, or with minimal and rounded edges. The Doogee Mix also uses a classic speaker, located at the top, and has a fingerprint reader integrated into the home button, once again another detail highly appreciated by users who love mobile technology. On the back, in addition, Doogee has placed two 16-megapixel cameras, while on the front, at the bottom, has placed an 8-megapixel sensor.
Finally, we leave you with a visual comparison between the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Doogee Mix. This image allows us to appreciate the effort of the Chinese manufacturer to maintain a very small size and at the same time offer a screen of 5.5 inches (something very meritorious, in fact). The sale of the Doogee Mix will begin in May, so in the coming weeks we will discover more details about the new edgeless, bezel-less and no-frame smartphone in the market.
