Finally, after several months of two-channel development in preview (Canary and Beta), we find that the stable version of Chrome for Android has been updated to 51 version. This is a major release because it brings several new features: dispersed tabs introduced Lollipop disappear completely from the multitasking menu, the favorite widget has a completely new style (most of Material Design, we can say) and there are many technical improvements on the table.

For example: the new management credentials API to log in the most reliable and secure sites. You can now access your own profile with a single touch, you can log on automatically (without user intervention) even if the session has expired, and so on. We also have a much more fluid loading pages that choose to adopt the new scrolling technology Passive Event Listener.

To proceed to download Chrome 51, you have two different possibilities. Or you click on this link to the application that will take you directly to the Google Play Store, or downloading through APK Mirror, to download the new version of the APK (signed by Google, free of viruses, malware and else). If you have chosen the latter option, you have to remember that first you must enable permissions for the installation of applications from unknown sources, or everything downloaded outside the Google Play Store can not be installed.
