Two weeks ago ASUS began the official deployment of the update to Android Nougat for ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe in the US, anticipating the initially planned times. Today it is Europe, where we can finally see how Android Nougat is distributed in the flagship of the Taiwanese company, one of the best Android smartphones on the market (and at an unbeatable price).

The firmware update is specifically for the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) version. The firmware version is 5.14.44.1898 and, in addition to bringing Android 7.0 Nougat, it includes some new features provided by the manufacturer, and we briefly show below.

Update to Android 7.0 Nougat for ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL)

ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe begins receiving Android Nougat in Europe 1

  • Update for ZenUI, the ASUS interface for the operating system;
  • The device will establish as the main launcher the one that comes with the system (and to use the Easy Mode you will have to configure it manually after updating);
  • Android Quick Settings now support more pages to include more quick adjustments;
  • Share Link and PC Suite are permanently deleted from the smartphone;
  • Improved NFC network performance.

The update to the latest version of the Google operating system should already be available for download, but being an update via OTA, the deployment may take several days before the notification appears on your device. In case you prefer to manually download and install Android 7.0 Nougat in your ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe, check the phone settings, check if the update is available in the corresponding section, and start experimenting with all the new features included in the latest version of Android.
