Alternative software for the range of smartphones Xperia X is about to receive a major update. Concept is the experimental firmware by Sony, and introduces many interesting features, though it does not guarantee the stability of the whole system (for now). In fact, the Xperia X range is undoubtedly the main engine of the concept within the Android program, which opened a few months ago and is based on new experiments and improvements to the overall operation of each device. A good idea for the time being enjoyed by all owners of 5-inch, Snapdragon 650 processor smartphones and have chosen to participate in these beta tests.
So Sony tries to access the latest versions of the green robot prematurely or as soon as possible, and a key role of this option is Concept and preliminary beta, right now with the penultimate version of Android, 7.1.1 Nougat, but seems to have not left satisfied participants of the program, because Sony has already scheduled the release of version 7.1.2 officially issued a few days ago in Google devices and now for the Japanese brand.
Therefore, owners of an Xperia X Concept who joined the program for Android will be the one who enjoy it. But what are the different improvements in the latest version (before the arrival of Android 8.0 O still in the Developer Preview) green robot? Google points in four directions within the distinctive features of the new Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
Android 7.1.2 Nougat
- Performance improvements gestures in fingerprint reader;
- Bluetooth connectivity improved;
- Alerts when applications use more battery;
- Other corrections.
Sony, however, has not detailed what will feature Android 7.1.2 Nougat in Xperia X. Obviously, there will not be gestures in fingerprint reader, while the remaining functions remain intact in the changelog. Xperia X Concept aims to enrich the improvements, avoid excessive battery consumption, improve night mode, saving battery, new audio engine and more.
