Despite being the most powerful and most complete smartphone ever introduced, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is not yet equipped with the latest version of Android. In fact, it will hit the market with Android 7.0 Nougat, but according to some clues that have emerged in the last few hours, derived from images from some Samsung applications, it was found that the update to Android 7.1 Nougat is just around the corner.
As you can see in the S Health changelog (in the image), support for Android 7.1 Nougat has been added. Of course, actually the image does not offer too many clues as to which smartphone will give such an update. Hence, in addition to being a clue about the update itself, you can also indicate a multiple update, compatible with Samsung smartphones that will receive an update to Android 7.1 Nougat soon.
The detail that, however, makes us think of the Samsung Galaxy S8, is that there is also the Game Tuner application and has exactly the same compatibility, which is exclusive to Samsung smartphones. In order to shorten the time and not launch two updates so close to each other, probably the developers of the Korean giant will work to add the bug-free version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat in version 7.1.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is just the tip of the iceberg
As we said, it seems evident that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are just the tip of the iceberg, since the update to Android 7.1 Nougat should be given on several Samsung smartphones (from the Galaxy S7 launched in 2017 up some models of the last generation). While waiting for more information, we remind you that the price of the two variants of the new Samsung device varies between $ 800 - $ 1,000. You can buy one of the two new top of the range through Amazon, since the pre-orders have already been open to the public.
