HMD Global is serious and determined to keep the promises made in recent weeks. One of them, as important as the others, means that the update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat for the Nokia 6, Android smartphone launched a few months ago in China is already here. And it is that Nokia (in the voice of HMD Global) has repeatedly assured that it will do everything possible to ensure that regular updates are made every month on all its devices. In addition to the Android update, the Nokia 6 also features security patches for April.
The Nokia 6, in fact, has not yet reached the international market, as it is only available in China, but you can already enjoy Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The update, whose firmware number is 00CN_3_170, will be carried out via OTA (Over The Air) and is a download of 369 MB. The novelties are different and unique for the integration of the new version of Android in the Finnish device, as clearly indicated in the list of changes. There are, in fact, many other very interesting improvements outside of Android itself.
