The update of the Lenovo Moto M 2016 (introduced on November 8) for Android 7.0 Nougat incorporates a new smartphone from the Motorola family to the list of devices with the latest version of the operating system, now owned by the Chinese giant. The Chinese agency TENAA, which is in charge of approving all devices in the field of telecommunications, has published a page on this cell phone that is not as powerful as others of the brand, but with good specs. Recognized with the code XT1662, it incorporates the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, but will jump to Android Nougat in a short period of time. It can be found on the official Chinese website at a price of 1,999 yuan (about 265 euros).
The Lenovo Moto M XT1662 has appeared on the TENAA website and revealed not only the data sheet with the features of this new smartphone, but also several images with some illustrative photos. We also know most of the specs for the hardware part, which includes an internal 32 GB memory that should also be expandable using microSD, and 4 GB of RAM to accompany a processor that should be a MediaTek MT6750. The cameras on the front and rear should be respectively 8 and 16 megapixels, a battery of 3,000 mAh, and screen with a diagonal of 5.5 inches with Full HD resolution. The operating system, as mentioned, is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but with the idea of jumping to Android Nougat quickly. To complete the frame, we find GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with NFC. We expect more information on this terminal that does not yet include a release date far from Asia.
There are other information regarding hardware specifications, which speak of a MediaTek Helio P15 SoC with octa-core CPU at 2.2 GHz and the Mali-T860 MP2 GPU at 800 MHz, with 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory expandable, 5.5 inches Full HD screen with 1080p resolution and waterproof P2i technology, 16-megapixel camera with phase detection, autofocus and dual LED dual-tone flash on the back and front of the 8-megapixel sensor, 3,050 mAh battery, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and Moto interface, and 4.3 mm thick.
