Having announced that the Huawei P8 Lite has been a great success, selling about 10 million units in just nine months, it confirmed today that the Chinese company has decided to launch Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Europe. This is all the information we know about it now.
Several months ago some Huawei P8 Lite had the latest operating system of Google. In fact, in January we learned that the beta phase for Marshmallow began and lasted until this week, when news of the official launch in Europe has unveiled by the Polish website of the Chinese company.
As for the update, this has a weight of 1.5 GB and of course reach all devices through OTA (Over The Air). If for some reason you do not receive the update notification, we suggest you to go to search on the phone Settings manually. We also note that, initially, Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Huawei P8 Lite has begun to be distributed in Germany and Poland. Still, it should not take long before reaching other European countries.
For now this is all the information we have about this new step forward in the implementation of the operating system of Google. This means that Marshmallow is still going on, especially if we consider the fact that a majority of smartphones are lacking of Android Marshmallow. At least officially until the release of the official Android N version (then we will see what happens with Marshmallow).
