Huawei launched in January an unexpected new member of the P family, the smartphone Huawei P8 Lite 2017. Successor of the Huawei P8 Lite launched two years ago, was a great success worldwide, with millions of units sold. The external design offers the classic structure of any Huawei smartphone. As for the new software, among all Huawei models already on the market, this is the first equipped with the new Android 7.0 Nougat system, offering new features. The most useful is the management of two applications at the same time. The EMUI graphical interface is quite classic with the addition of many useful functions, but sometimes it's a bit chaotic. Very interesting to use the mode with one hand. The fingerprint reader offers the ability to take pictures, open the drop-down notifications menu or simply answer a phone call.
The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 comes with a 12 megapixel ƒ/2.2 main camera with Led Flash and auto focus (PDAF). The camera software has many useful features, and therefore the overall performance of the photographs is very detailed. Also at the time of recording videos in Full HD and taking photos from the front camera of 8 megapixels.
The battery of 3,000 mAh provides a very good battery life and performance, and if it is considered a moderate use it can reach two days of life, in contrast to a high utilization, which still covers a long day of battery life.
The price of the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is quite low considering the fact that it is in competition with other smartphones of the same brand, such as: P9 Lite, GT3 or Honor 6X, and can be found online for just over $ 200.
