Honor has introduced the new Magic: the company's first smartphone equipped with virtual assistant and advanced features based on an artificial intelligence platform. The device reaches the market after the representative success of Honor 8, with which the Chinese manufacturer increased sales by more than 40%. Honor Magic is an unibody cell phone with aluminum materials covered by two curved glasses on the front and back for a particular rounded design. The screen is AMOLED with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and is devoid of edges on either side, and there is only one button on the front that functions as a fingerprint reader too.
The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, implemented with the interface Honor Magic Live, which allows the phone to interact with the user and perform certain functions automatically using several sensors on board a real artificial intelligence platform. This cell phone, in fact, is able to recognize if you are driving and automatically adjusts the mode "in auto", if you enter a dark room will enable the flashlight function, while if you are on the street will show you the nearby attractions, The movies they put on the theaters and the taxis that are in the area, and everything from the lockscreen with Smart Display. The Smart Services mode intervenes during the chats, providing suggestions based on the topics spoken. Thanks to the WideScreen function that uses sensors and the camera of the smartphone, it recognizes the owner by the hands and the eyes and opens the preview of the messages automatically, and with MyPocket allows you to consult your favorite contents, such as music and videos, with a couple of simple touches on the screen.
The heart of the Honor Magic works with the Kirin 950 octa-core processor manufactured by Huawei, which features high-precision for the brand, with four cores running at 2.3 GHz, and remaining cores at 1.8 GHz. We also find 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The front camera has 8 megapixels, while again we find a dual sensor of 12 megapixels, a black and white with aperture f/2.2 and a dual LED flash, the same solution adopted for the model Honor 8. The battery has 2900 mAh, which may seem low, but thanks to a molecular graphite structure is able to recharge up to 40% in only 10 minutes and up to 70% in less than half an hour. Currently the Honor Magic marketing is open only in the Chinese market, and we have no news about its possible arrival in Europe.
